About this camp: The workcamp focuses on the restoration of damaged forest trails, making firewood for Goemon baths and saunas, and reconstructing camp fields, encouraging volunteers to connect deeply with nature. Volunteers will stay in log cabins at BASE CAMP shiiba, where meals are prepared together with camp members, and each cabin is equipped with necessary amenities.




Work: – Restore damaged forest trails by removing trees and repairing stairs.- Chop and stack firewood for Goemon baths and saunas.- Reconstruct camp fields by cutting grass and removing stones.- Engage in activities that foster a connection with nature.- Collaborate with other volunteers and local members.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers sleep in log cabins at BASE CAMP shiiba.- Meals are cooked by volunteers together with camp members in a main cabin.- Each cabin is equipped with bedding, heater, refrigerator, kitchen, shower, and toilet.



Leisure Activities: – Shiiba village is situated in the central Kyushu mountains with a population of 2,300.- About 96% of the land area is covered with forests.- Other activities include exchange parties with villagers, Goemon baths, saunas, bonfires, and skiing.
