About this camp: Volunteers will assist with various tasks on an organic farm, including harvesting rice, planting vegetables, and cooking. They will work long hours from 05:30 to 18:00, engaging in physical activities and enjoying the stunning natural beauty of Otari village in Nagano Prefecture, Japan.




Work: – Assist with harvesting and threshing rice.- Plant vegetables and care for animals on the farm.- Help with housework, particularly cooking.- Carry supplies to the Maki farm in the mountains.- Engage in physically demanding work to promote health.



Accommodation and Food: – Shared room accommodation for volunteers and community members.- Meals prepared collaboratively with the local community.- Sleeping bag not required; limited WiFi is available.



Leisure Activities: – Otari village is situated in a region of stunning natural beauty near the Japanese Northern Alps.- It takes 40-50 minutes to walk from the nearest train station, Minami-Otari.- Possible excursions on free days, including a visit to the famous tourism spot, Hakuba.
