About this camp: Volunteers will assist in an organic farm in Otari village, Japan, engaging in activities such as harvesting rice, planting vegetables, and cooking. The work schedule is demanding, running from 05:30 to 18:00, offering good exercise and a chance to experience the local community.




Work: – Assist in harvesting and threshing rice.- Plant vegetables and take care of animals.- Participate in housework, especially cooking.- Carry items to the Maki farm in the mountains.- Engage in physically demanding work for health benefits.



Accommodation and Food: – Shared accommodation provided in a building near the farm.- Meals prepared collaboratively with community members.- Sleeping bag not required, and limited Wifi available.



Leisure Activities: – Located in a beautiful village near the Japanese Northern Alps.- 40-50 minute walk from Minami-Otari station.- Opportunities for excursions and exchange programs on free days.
