About this camp: Volunteers will assist with various tasks on an organic farm in Otari village, Japan, including harvesting and planting crops, taking care of animals, and cooking. The work is physically demanding and will take place from 05:30 to 18:00, with breaks included. Accommodations are shared in a building near the farm, with meals prepared collaboratively with the community.




Work: – Assist with harvesting and threshing rice- Plant vegetables and take care of animals- Participate in housework, especially cooking- Carry supplies to the Maki farm in the mountains- Engage in physically demanding work for long hours



Accommodation and Food: – Shared room in a building for volunteers and community members- Meals will be cooked by volunteers and community members in turns- Sleeping bag is not necessary; limited WiFi available



Leisure Activities: – Located in a small village with stunning natural beauty- Near the Japanese Northern Alps- Possible excursions to Hakuba, a famous tourism spot on free days
