About this camp: Volunteers will help with various tasks on an organic farm in Otari village, Japan, including harvesting rice, planting vegetables, and cooking. The work is physically demanding, requiring long hours, and the accommodations are in a shared building close to the farm, with community-cooked meals and limited Wifi.




Work: – Harvest and thresh rice on the organic farm.- Plant vegetables and take care of animals.- Assist with house work, particularly cooking.- Carry supplies to the Maki farm in the mountains.- Engage in physical exercise through demanding work hours.



Accommodation and Food: – Shared room in a building close to the farm.- Meals prepared by volunteers in collaboration with local community members.- Sleeping bag not required; limited Wifi available.



Leisure Activities: – Otari village is surrounded by stunning natural beauty near the Japanese Northern Alps.- 40-50 minute walk from Minami-Otari train station.- Opportunities for exchange programs and excursions, possibly to Hakuba.
