About this camp: Volunteers will support an organic farm in various tasks, including harvesting rice, planting vegetables, and cooking, while also transporting goods to the Maki farm. The work is physically demanding, running from 05:30 to 18:00, and offers a chance to enjoy the stunning natural beauty of Otari village, located near the Japanese Northern Alps.




Work: – Assist in harvesting and threshing rice- Plant vegetables and care for animals- Participate in housework, especially cooking- Transport goods to the Maki farm- Engage in physically demanding work for good exercise



Accommodation and Food: – Shared room in a building near the farm- Meals prepared by volunteers with the community- Sleeping bag not necessary; limited Wifi available



Leisure Activities: – Located in a picturesque village near Japanese Northern Alps- 40-50 minute walk from Minami-Otari train station- Opportunities for an exchange program and excursions on free days, potentially to Hakuba
