About this camp: Volunteers mainly work for organic agriculture, including cultivation, seeding, weeding, harvesting, and taking care of livestock. They will participate in house renovations and daily meetings while living in a culturally rich house equipped with basic facilities. The camp offers a unique experience in a beautiful location near the Japanese Northern Alps, with a focus on community life and hard work.




Work: – Cultivate and harvest organic crops.- Take care of goats, cows, and chickens.- Renovate houses and trails in the area.- Participate in daily meetings and collective life.- Assist with cooking and other housework.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will live in a beautiful cultural heritage house with basic facilities.- Meals are prepared collaboratively with Kyodo Gakusha members.- Sleeping bags are not necessary, and there is no wifi.



Leisure Activities: – Maki is located near the Japanese Northern Alps, offering stunning scenery.- Engage in exchange programs with locals.- Possible excursions to nearby tourist spots like Hakuba on free days.
