About this camp: Volunteers will engage in organic agriculture activities such as cultivation, seeding, weeding, and caring for livestock, while also assisting with renovations and construction projects. Daily participation in meetings and collective life is essential, and the work schedule is demanding, providing a good physical workout. Accommodations will be in a culturally significant main house with basic amenities, fostering a sense of community among volunteers and local members.




Work: – Engage in organic agriculture including seeding, weeding, and harvesting.- Care for livestock such as goats, cows, and chickens.- Assist in transporting materials from town to Maki.- Participate in the renovation of houses and trails.- Join daily meetings and contribute to communal life.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay in a culturally significant main house with basic facilities.- Meals will be prepared collaboratively with local members.- No need for a sleeping bag, and there is no Wi-Fi available.



Leisure Activities: – Maki is situated near the Japanese Northern Alps, offering beautiful natural scenery.- Possible excursions to Hakuba, a well-known tourist destination.- Participation in an exchange program with local community.
