About this camp: Volunteers mainly work in organic agriculture, including tasks like cultivation, seeding, weeding, and caring for animals. They also assist with transporting goods, renovating houses and trails, and engaging in communal cooking and daily meetings. The work schedule is demanding, providing good exercise, while volunteers reside in a culturally rich house with basic amenities.




Work: – Cultivate, seed, weed, and harvest organic crops.- Care for goats, cows, and chickens, including feeding them.- Transport goods from the town to Maki.- Renovate houses and maintain trails.- Participate in communal cooking and daily meetings.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers live in a beautiful cultural heritage main house with basic facilities.- Single rooms can be provided, and meals are prepared communally with Kyodo Gakusha members.- Sleeping bags are not necessary, and there is no wifi available.



Leisure Activities: – Maki is located near the Japanese Northern Alps, offering stunning natural scenery.- Opportunities for exchange programs with local communities.- Excursions to popular tourist spots like Hakuba on free days.
