About this camp: Volunteers primarily engage in organic agriculture activities such as cultivation, seeding, weeding, harvesting, and caring for livestock, while also helping with house renovations and community tasks. Active participation in daily meetings and collective life is essential, and volunteers should be prepared for physically demanding work hours. Accommodations are provided in a culturally rich main house with shared meals prepared by volunteers and community members.




Work: – Engage in organic agriculture tasks including cultivation, seeding, and harvesting.- Care for goats, cows, and chickens, including their feed preparation.- Assist in transporting supplies from town to Maki.- Participate in house renovations and construction of community facilities.- Attend daily meetings and contribute to collective life.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay in a culturally significant main house with basic amenities.- Meals are prepared collaboratively with Kyodo Gakusha members.- No sleeping bag is necessary, and there is no wifi available.



Leisure Activities: – Maki is located near the Japanese Northern Alps, providing a unique natural setting.- Opportunities for cultural exchange programs.- Excursions may be organized on free days, potentially to Hakuba.
