About this camp: Volunteers will engage in organic agriculture activities, including cultivation, seeding, weeding, and taking care of livestock, while also assisting in house renovations and cooking. Active participation in daily meetings and communal life is essential, and the work schedule is demanding, providing both physical exercise and a chance to immerse in local culture.




Work: – Engage in organic agriculture tasks such as cultivation, seeding, and harvesting.- Care for livestock, including goats, cows, and chickens.- Assist in transporting goods from town to Maki.- Participate in house renovations and construction of a hut.- Contribute to communal cooking and daily meetings.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay in a culturally significant main house equipped with basic facilities.- Meals are prepared collaboratively with Kyodo Gakusha members.- No sleeping bag is needed, and there is no wifi available.



Leisure Activities: – Maki is situated near the Japanese Northern Alps, offering stunning natural scenery.- Participants may engage in an exchange program.- Excursions on free days might include visits to Hakuba, a popular tourist destination.
