About this camp: Volunteers primarily engage in organic agriculture, including tasks such as cultivation, seeding, weeding, harvesting, and caring for livestock. They also assist in transporting goods, renovating houses, and constructing huts, while fully participating in the collective life and daily meetings. Living in a cultural heritage house with basic amenities, volunteers enjoy shared meals and socializing with Kyodo Gakusha members.




Work: – Participate in organic agriculture activities like seeding, weeding, and harvesting.- Care for animals such as goats, cows, and chickens.- Assist in transporting items from town to Maki.- Renovate houses and trails, and help construct huts.- Join daily meetings to engage in collective life.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will reside in a beautiful cultural heritage house with basic facilities including water, electricity, and kitchen.- Meals are prepared collaboratively with Kyodo Gakusha members.- A sleeping bag is not necessary, and there is no wifi available.



Leisure Activities: – Maki is situated near the Japanese Northern Alps, offering a scenic environment.- Opportunities for an exchange program are available.- Excursions on free days may include visits to popular tourist spots like Hakuba.
