About this camp: Volunteers will primarily engage in organic agriculture activities such as cultivation, seeding, weeding, harvesting, and caring for livestock. They will also assist with transporting goods, renovating houses and trails, and participating in community life, including cooking meals. The work is physically demanding and takes place from 05:30 to 18:00, with volunteers living in a culturally significant house equipped with basic facilities.




Work: – Engage in organic agriculture tasks including cultivation and harvesting.- Care for livestock such as goats, cows, and chickens.- Assist in transporting goods from the town to Maki.- Renovate houses and construct huts in the area.- Participate actively in daily meetings and community life.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will live in a culturally significant main house with basic amenities.- Meals are prepared collaboratively by volunteers and community members.- Sleeping bags are not required, and there is no wifi available.



Leisure Activities: – Maki is located near the Japanese Northern Alps, providing a beautiful natural setting.- Opportunity for excursions to popular tourist spots such as Hakuba on free days.- Engage in exchange programs with local community members.
