About this camp: Volunteers will engage in various agricultural activities including rice cultivation, assisting local green tea farms, supporting Sansojuku events, and daily goat care. The camp is located in the Yame city of Fukuoka prefecture, known for its terraced rice fields and opportunities for local cultural immersion.




Work: – Cultivating rice through planting and maintaining terraced fields.- Assisting local farms with green tea, rice, and vegetable production.- Supporting event activities for Sansojuku, including promotion and logistics.- Daily care and management of goats.- Engaging in local events and learning about local traditions.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation at Egao no mori center, a repurposed elementary school.- Volunteers will be responsible for cooking their own meals.- Basic facilities available for volunteer use.



Leisure Activities: – The camp is situated in the scenic southern Fukuoka region, featuring terraced paddy fields and tea trees.- Opportunities to participate in local events and cultural experiences.- Sightseeing options include hot springs and local landmarks.
