About this camp: Volunteers will engage in various agricultural activities in the Southern part of Fukuoka prefecture, including rice cultivation, assisting local tea farms, supporting community events, and caring for goats. The Egao no mori center, a former elementary school, serves as the accommodation where volunteers will prepare their own meals and participate in local events and sightseeing opportunities.




Work: – Cultivating rice through planting and maintaining terraced fields.- Assisting local farms with green tea, rice, and vegetables.- Supporting community events at Sansojuku, including promotion and clean-up.- Daily care for goats as part of the farming activities.- Participating in local cultural events and learning opportunities.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation at the Egao no mori center, previously an elementary school.- Volunteers are responsible for cooking their own meals.- Basic facilities are provided for a comfortable stay.



Leisure Activities: – Located in the scenic Southern Fukuoka prefecture, known for its tea trees and terraced paddy fields.- Opportunities to engage in local events and learn traditional wisdom.- Sightseeing options including hot springs and famous local attractions.
