About this camp: Volunteers will engage in various agricultural activities including cultivating rice, helping local farms with green tea and vegetables, supporting events at Sansojuku, and taking care of goats. The work takes place in the Southern part of Fukuoka prefecture, specifically in Yame city, an area known for its terraced rice fields and tea trees.




Work: – Cultivating rice through planting and maintaining terraced rice fields (May to Nov.)- Assisting local farms with green tea and vegetable cultivation (May, Oct.)- Supporting Sansojuku events through promotion, preparation, and cleanup- Taking care of goats daily- Participating in local events and learning local wisdom



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers stay at Egao no mori center, previously an elementary school- Cooking is self-managed by the volunteers- Basic amenities are provided for cooking and accommodation



Leisure Activities: – The workcamp is located in Yame city, which covers 482.53 km2- The area features numerous tea trees and terraced paddy fields- Opportunities for sightseeing, including hot springs and local attractions
