About this camp: Volunteers will engage in various agricultural activities in Yame city, Fukuoka, including rice cultivation, assisting local farms, supporting events for Sansojuku, and daily goat care. The camp offers opportunities for cultural exchange and sightseeing.




Work: – Cultivating rice through planting and maintaining terraced rice fields.- Assisting local farms with green tea, rice, and vegetable production.- Supporting promotional activities and staff for Sansojuku events.- Taking care of goats on a daily basis.- Participating in local events to learn and engage with the community.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation at the Egao no mori center, previously an elementary school.- Volunteers will be responsible for cooking their own meals.- Facilities are basic but provide a communal living experience.



Leisure Activities: – The camp is located in the southern part of Fukuoka, within Yame city known for its tea trees and terraced paddy fields.- Volunteers can participate in local events that promote cultural learning.- Opportunities for sightseeing, including visits to hot springs and famous local landmarks.
