About this camp: Volunteers will engage in various agricultural activities in the Southern part of Fukuoka prefecture, including cultivating rice, assisting local tea farms, supporting community events, and caring for goats. The Egao no mori center provides a cooking space for volunteers, who will also have opportunities to participate in local events and sightseeing.




Work: – Cultivating rice, including planting and maintaining terraced rice fields from May to November.- Assisting local farms with green tea, rice, and vegetables during specified months.- Supporting events at Sansojuku through promotion, preparation, and participant communication.- Daily care for goats.- Engaging in local events and learning local wisdom.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers stay at the Egao no mori center, previously an elementary school.- Cooking is done by the volunteers themselves.- Basic accommodation facilities provided.



Leisure Activities: – Located in Yame city, known for its tea trees and terraced paddy fields.- Opportunities to join local events and learn about local culture.- Sightseeing trips available, including visits to hot springs and famous local sites.
