About this camp: Volunteers will engage in various agricultural activities such as cultivating rice, helping with local green tea and vegetable farms, supporting events at Sansojuku, and taking care of goats. The camp is located in the Southern part of Fukuoka Prefecture, within Yame city, known for its terraced rice fields and opportunities for local engagement and sightseeing.




Work: – Cultivate rice, including planting and maintaining terraced rice fields (Mainly from May to Nov.)- Assist local farms with green tea (May and Oct.) and rice and vegetable cultivation (from May to Nov.)- Support events at Sansojuku through promotion, preparation, and communication with participants- Take care of goats on a daily basis- Participate in local events and learn local wisdom.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodations are at the Egao no mori center, previously an elementary school- Volunteers will prepare their own meals- Cooking facilities are available for volunteers.



Leisure Activities: – The camp is situated in the Southern part of Fukuoka Prefecture, covering 482.53 km2- Surrounding environment includes numerous tea trees and terraced paddy fields- Opportunities for sightseeing and short trips to hot springs and famous local attractions.
