About this camp: Volunteers will engage in various agricultural activities including rice cultivation, assisting local green tea farms, supporting events at Sansojuku, and taking care of goats. The camp is located in the picturesque Yame city, known for its terraced rice fields and tea trees, and offers opportunities for local cultural experiences and sightseeing.




Work: – Cultivating rice through planting and maintaining terraced fields.- Assisting local farms with green tea, rice, and vegetables.- Supporting event promotion and logistics for Sansojuku.- Taking care of goats on a daily basis.- Participating in local events and gaining insights into local wisdom.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation is at the Egao no mori center, formerly an elementary school.- Volunteers will be responsible for cooking their own meals.- Facilities are basic but provide a communal living experience.



Leisure Activities: – Located in the southern part of Fukuoka prefecture, Yame city is rich in agriculture.- Opportunities for sightseeing include hot springs and famous local attractions.- Volunteers can join local events to learn traditional practices.
