About this camp: Volunteers will engage in various agricultural activities in Yame city, Fukuoka, including rice cultivation, assisting local green tea and vegetable farms, supporting events at Sansojuku, and taking care of goats. Additionally, volunteers will have the opportunity to cook for themselves and participate in local events, learning about local wisdom and enjoying sightseeing in the area.




Work: – Cultivate rice through planting and maintaining terraced rice fields from May to November.- Assist local farms with green tea, rice, and vegetables during designated months.- Support Sansojuku events by promoting, preparing, and assisting staff.- Provide daily care for goats.- Participate in local events and gain insights into local customs.



Accommodation and Food: – Stay at Egao no mori center, a former elementary school since 2004.- Volunteers will be responsible for cooking their own meals.- Basic accommodations are provided for all volunteers.



Leisure Activities: – Explore the southern Fukuoka prefecture, known for its tea trees and terraced paddy fields.- Join local events to immerse in cultural experiences.- Enjoy sightseeing trips to hot springs and famous local attractions.
