About this camp: Volunteers will engage in various agricultural activities, including cultivating rice, assisting local green tea farms, supporting Sansojuku events, and taking care of goats. The workcamp is located in the southern part of Fukuoka prefecture, specifically in Yame city, known for its terraced paddy fields and tea trees.




Work: – Cultivating rice through activities like planting and cutting grass in terraced fields.- Assisting local farms with green tea, rice, and vegetables.- Supporting events of Sansojuku, including promotion and preparation tasks.- Taking care of goats daily.- Participating in local events and learning about local wisdom.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation at Egao no mori center, formerly Kasahara-higashi elementary school.- Volunteers will prepare their own meals during the stay.- Basic cooking facilities available for volunteers.



Leisure Activities: – Located in the southern part of Fukuoka prefecture with a size of 482.53 km2.- Surrounded by numerous tea trees and terraced paddy fields.- Opportunities for sightseeing, including hot springs and famous local attractions.
