About this camp: Volunteers will engage in various agricultural activities including cultivating rice, assisting local farms with green tea, and supporting events at Sansojuku. The camp is located in the southern part of the Fukuoka prefecture, specifically in Yame city, which is known for its terraced rice fields and tea trees.




Work: – Cultivating rice through planting and maintaining terraced rice fields.- Assisting local farms with green tea, rice, and vegetable cultivation.- Supporting events at Sansojuku, including promotion and participant communication.- Taking care of goats on a daily basis.- Participating in local events and learning about local wisdom.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation provided at Egao no mori center, formerly Kasahara-higashi elementary school.- Volunteers are responsible for cooking their own meals.- Self-catering encourages teamwork and culinary skills among volunteers.



Leisure Activities: – Located in Yame city, known for its terraced paddy fields and tea trees.- Opportunities to join local events and learn about local culture.- Sightseeing options available, including visits to hot springs and famous sites.
