About this camp: Volunteers will mainly support the life and the language of foreign residents and students, do agricultural work, assist families at the citizen farm run by HIF, and may help identify community challenges and solutions while participating in local projects. Hakodate city is a popular tourist destination in Hokkaido, known for its romantic night view, seafood morning market, and historical sites, facing depopulation issues.




Work: – Support the life and language of foreign residents and students.- Assist with agricultural work at the citizen farm run by HIF.- Help families and local community projects.- Clean Onuma lake and assist in local festivals.- Identify community challenges and potential solutions.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will share rooms.- Meals will be prepared by volunteers on a rotating basis (vegetarian options available).- Wifi is available and no smoking is allowed.



Leisure Activities: – Explore Hakodate, a top tourist spot in Hokkaido.- Enjoy romantic night views and seafood at the morning market.- Visit historical sites like Goryokaku and take a week off to explore Hokkaido.
