About this camp: Volunteers will mainly support the life and language of foreign residents and students, assist with agricultural work, and help address community challenges while engaging in local festivals and cleaning Onuma lake. Hakodate city is a popular tourist destination in Hokkaido, known for its romantic night views and historical sites, and volunteers will share accommodations and cook meals with access to wifi.




Work: – Support the life and language of foreign residents and students.- Assist with agricultural work at the citizen farm run by HIF.- Help identify and solve community challenges.- Participate in local festivals and clean Onuma lake.- Engage in other projects of HIF.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will share rooms.- Meals will be cooked by volunteers on a rotating basis.- Wifi is available and smoking is not permitted.



Leisure Activities: – Hakodate city offers a romantic night view and a morning market for seafood.- Historical sites such as Goryokaku are available for exploration.- One week off may be possible for volunteers to travel around Hokkaido.
