About this camp: Volunteers will engage in forest conservation, agricultural work involving free-range chickens, and organizing environmental events in the mountains. The camp is located in the Kami-mitani area of Nabari city, 60 km from Osaka, where volunteers will have opportunities to learn local wisdom and enjoy nearby natural attractions.




Work: – Forest conservation activities such as cutting trees and maintaining footpaths.- Agricultural work including caring for free-range chickens and mushroom harvesting.- Organizing environmental events like nature observation and collecting edible wild plants.- Managing the humane treatment of chickens that no longer lay eggs.- Learning about local ecological practices and sustainability.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation in a small traditional house on the premises of ASSK.- Volunteers will prepare their own meals.- Emphasis on self-sufficiency and communal cooking.



Leisure Activities: – Located in the Kami-mitani area of Nabari city, near famous hiking falls.- Opportunities to learn local wisdom and culture.- Sightseeing trips to hot springs and other notable places.
