About this camp: Volunteers will engage in forest conservation activities, agricultural work including taking care of free-range chickens and mushroom harvesting, and organizing environmental events in the mountains. The camp is located in the Kami-mitani area of Nabari city, 60 km from Osaka, where volunteers will also have opportunities for local sightseeing and cultural learning.




Work: – Participate in forest conservation by cutting trees and maintaining footpaths.- Engage in agricultural work, including caring for free-range chickens and harvesting mushrooms.- Organize environmental events such as collecting edible wild plants.- Learn about local wisdom and traditional practices.- Experience simple mountain life while respecting local culture.



Accommodation and Food: – Stay in a small traditional house on the premises of ASSK.- Volunteers will cook their own meals.- Emphasis on self-sufficiency and appreciation of food sources.



Leisure Activities: – Explore the nearby famous falls popular among hikers.- Engage in local sightseeing including hot springs and historical sites.- Gain insights into local wisdom and cultural practices.
