About this camp: Volunteers will engage in forest conservation, agricultural work involving chickens and mushrooms, and organizing environmental events in the mountains. The camp is located in a small traditional house on the premises of ASSK in the Kami-mitani area of Nabari city, 60 km from Osaka, which offers opportunities for local sightseeing and learning local wisdom.




Work: – Forest conservation activities including cutting trees and maintaining footpaths.- Agricultural work such as caring for free-range chickens and harvesting mushrooms.- Organizing environmental events like nature observation and collecting wild plants.- Managing the ethical treatment of chickens instead of discarding them.- Learning local cultural practices and sustainability.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation in a small traditional house on the ASSK premises.- Volunteers will prepare their own meals.- Community living fostering collaboration and shared experiences.



Leisure Activities: – Located in the Kami-mitani area of Nabari city, known for its famous falls.- Opportunities for hiking and enjoying nature.- Learning local wisdom through sightseeing and short trips to hot springs and famous places.
