About this camp: Volunteers will engage in forest conservation activities, agricultural work including the care of free-range chickens, and organizing environmental events in the mountains of Nabari city. The camp emphasizes sustainable practices, respect for local culture, and appreciation for the value of life.




Work: – Forest conservation work including cutting trees and maintaining footpaths.- Agricultural tasks such as caring for free-range chickens and harvesting mushrooms.- Organizing environmental events like nature observation and collecting edible wild plants.- Promoting sustainable practices by using older chickens for food rather than disposal.- Learning local wisdom and environmental stewardship.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation in a small traditional house on the premises of ASSK.- Volunteers will be responsible for cooking their own meals.- Emphasis on communal living and shared responsibilities.



Leisure Activities: – Located in the Kami-mitani area of Nabari city, 60 km from Osaka.- Nearby famous falls attract many hikers and nature enthusiasts.- Opportunities for sightseeing and learning about local culture, including visits to hot springs.
