About this camp: Volunteers will engage in various activities including forest conservation, agricultural work with free-range chickens, and organizing environmental events in the mountains. The camp is located in the Kami-mitani area of Nabari city, 60 km from Osaka, where volunteers will also have opportunities to learn local wisdom and enjoy sightseeing.




Work: – Forest conservation activities like cutting trees and maintaining footpaths.- Agricultural work including caring for free-range chickens and harvesting mushrooms.- Organizing environmental events such as nature observation and collecting edible wild plants.- Engaging in sustainable practices by valuing the life of old chickens instead of discarding them.- Learning and applying local wisdom through hands-on experiences.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation provided in a small traditional house on the premises of ASSK.- Volunteers will be responsible for cooking their own meals.- Living arrangements promote self-sufficiency and communal living.



Leisure Activities: – The camp is situated in the Kami-mitani area, known for its famous falls and hiking spots.- Opportunities to learn local wisdom through various activities.- Sightseeing trips including visits to hot springs and other famous local sites.
