About this camp: Volunteers will engage in various activities including forest conservation, agricultural work such as caring for free range chickens, and organizing environmental events in the mountains. Located in the Kami-mitani area of Nabari city, 60 km from Osaka, the workcamp also offers opportunities to learn local wisdom and enjoy nearby scenic falls.




Work: – Participate in forest conservation activities like cutting trees and maintaining footpaths.- Care for free range chickens, including the harvesting and packaging of mushrooms.- Organize environmental events such as nature observation and collecting edible wild plants.- Implement sustainable practices in agricultural work while appreciating the value of life.- Engage in educational activities related to environmental issues.



Accommodation and Food: – Stay in a small traditional house on the premises of ASSK.- Volunteers will be responsible for cooking their own meals.- Experience a communal living environment.



Leisure Activities: – Explore the Kami-mitani area, known for its famous falls and hiking opportunities.- Learn local wisdom through cultural exchanges and activities.- Enjoy sightseeing and short trips to hot springs and notable places.
