About this camp: Volunteers will work on the maintenance of the Cognolo Refuge area including trails, terraces, and essential structures, while also engaging with the local flora and fauna. Group life involves shared responsibilities for cooking and cleaning, fostering community interactions, and the camp is situated in a spartan setting with basic amenities.




Work: – Maintenance of trails and construction of essential structures- Restoration of terraces and collection of firewood- Cleaning and maintenance of communal spaces- Setting up tent pitches and fire areas- Exploration of local flora and fauna



Accommodation and Food: – Group housed in tents in a camping area- Shared bathrooms, compost toilets, and solar showers available- Volunteers manage cooking and meal preparation with access to a pantry



Leisure Activities: – Refuge located in Sabine Mountains near Casperia (RI)- Accessed by a 2h 30m hike with medium difficulty- Altitude difference of 600m
