About this camp: The community of Londa is dedicated to enhancing its area, promoting resilience against urban migration through redeveloped spaces and vibrant festivals. The Londa Workcamp fosters encounters between diverse communities, allowing volunteers to engage in environmental redevelopment activities, contributing to Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 11: Sustainable Communities.




Work: – Volunteers will participate in environmental redevelopment activities.- Tasks include removing stones from the lake banks and painting benches.- Cleaning water drainage ditches along roads is part of the work.- Volunteers will work five days a week, averaging six hours daily.- Saturdays and Sundays are off for leisure activities.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay in a farmhouse in the hamlet of Caiano.- The farmhouse has two bedrooms, a kitchen, and outdoor spaces.- Meals are self-prepared with a mainly vegetarian diet.



Leisure Activities: – Londa village is 30 kilometers from Florence, offering scenic views.- Volunteers can hike and visit neighboring towns.- Opportunities to explore Florence during days off are available.
