About this camp: The “Notre Dame de la Misricorde” medical and social centre in Kpalim has approached ASTOVOT for volunteers to assist in treating patients and exchanging medical practices. This initiative aims to enhance the tropical medicine expertise of international volunteers while confronting health realities in Togo.




Work: – Assisting nursing staff- Consulting patients and pregnant women (prenatal consultation)- Performing minor surgery for minor accidents- Weighing children- Participating in patient vaccinations



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodated with Togolese host families chosen based on proximity to the volunteer’s work- Private room, drinking water, and 3 meals a day provided, adapted to each volunteer’s diet- Volunteers remain independent and can participate in activities of their choice



Leisure Activities: – Kpalim is ideal for nature lovers and hikers with beautiful mountainous landscapes and tropical flora- Numerous natural waterfalls for refreshing visits- Home to the most important craft center in the country, offering cultural encounters and local interactions
