About this camp: Participants will spend a night in Yeosu exploring the city before heading to Geomun Island to collaborate with professional artists on artwork using marine debris and waste. They will engage in cultural exchanges with local students and enjoy the island’s stunning beaches and community, making it an ideal opportunity for those interested in local development and collaboration.
Work: – Spend a night in Yeosu exploring the city with all participants.- Collaborate with professional artists to create artworks from marine debris and natural materials.- Produce community-benefiting artworks such as paintings and crafts.- Engage in cultural exchange activities with local elementary and middle school students.- Enjoy the beautiful beaches and ocean of Geomun Island during free time.
Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation provided in a local guest house.- Meals are cooked by participants, fostering collaboration.- Rooms shared by 4 to 5 people, with air conditioning, bedding, and shower facilities.
Leisure Activities: – Free time at the beach and villages on the island during the project.- Group enjoyment of YEOSU city activities before traveling to Gumundo.- Opportunities for leisure and cultural exploration in the local community.
