About this camp: The Mrkische Schweiz Nature Park, located 40 km east of Berlin, features a unique natural and cultural landscape where participants will engage in various environmental conservation tasks around the Drei Eichen environmental education centre. This camp provides an opportunity for young people from around the world to actively contribute to nature conservation while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.




Work: – Engage in landscape conservation work in various natural areas of the Mrkische Schweiz Nature Park.- Assist the Drei Eichen environmental education centre with tasks such as wood protection, repair work, and building nesting boxes.- Participate in pruning trees and shrubs, planting, and tackling invasive species during the autumn.- Collaborate with the nature park administration to learn about the local environment.- Work outdoors while planning activities based on weather conditions.



Accommodation and Food: – Stay at the Drei Eichen environmental education centre, 4 km from Buckow, with shared kitchen and multi-bed rooms.- Cook meals together as a group, with funds provided for shopping.- Vegetarian and vegan meal options available upon request.



Leisure Activities: – Participate in GPS tours and guided hikes focusing on biodiversity within the nature park.- Enjoy various leisure activities such as visiting the bat museum, exploring surrounding lakes, and making campfires.- Option for day trips to Berlin or Poland on weekends for a more urban experience.
