About this camp: The Mrkische Schweiz Nature Park, located 40 km east of Berlin, provides a unique natural and cultural landscape for our project at the Drei Eichen environmental education centre. Participants will engage in hands-on work to help shape the area while learning about nature conservation and alternative lifestyles.




Work: – Participants will assist with various landscape maintenance tasks in the Mrkische Schweiz Nature Park.- Work includes revitalizing a dried-up pond and promoting native plant habitats.- The camp focuses on outdoor work, with tasks determined based on weather conditions.- Collaboration with local nature park administration enhances the learning experience.- Participants will contribute to farm activities and engage in community-driven projects.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation is provided at the Drei Eichen environmental education centre, featuring a kitchen and multi-bed rooms.- Participants will cook together, with funds available for shopping.- Vegetarian and vegan meal options are available; dietary intolerances should be communicated during registration.



Leisure Activities: – Opportunities for learning about plants and animals through guided hikes and workshops.- Leisure activities include GPS tours, visits to lakes, and a trip to a bat museum.- Participants can also explore urban areas like Berlin or Poland on weekends.
