About this camp: In this workcamp in Berlin, participants will engage in the preservation of the culture of remembrance by repairing and maintaining the graves of war victims at the Reinickendorf war gravesite. This experience offers a deeper understanding of the past and the promotion of peace through memorialisation while also enjoying the quieter sides of the vibrant city.




Work: – Engage in the preservation of the culture of remembrance.- Repair and maintain graves of war and tyranny victims.- Clean graves and grave marker frames.- Seed lawns and prune woody plants.- Participate in self-organization and daily camp routines.



Accommodation and Food: – Participants will cook together with provided food funds.- Vegetarian or vegan meals can be accommodated based on registration.- Self-organization is essential for shopping, cooking, and cleaning.



Leisure Activities: – Accommodation is at Gsteetage, Berlin Gesundbrunnen, offering a comfortable stay.- Explore Berlin’s city center, museums, or relax at a lake after work.- A city ticket will be provided for public transportation throughout Berlin.
