About this camp: Volunteers are invited to help with the care and maintenance of a social centre, engaging in tasks both inside and outside, including clearing the orchard, harvesting fruits and vegetables, and maintaining the castle. The project also offers opportunities for cultural exchanges and excursions in the beautiful Franconian landscape.




Work: – Clear bushes in the meadow orchard and collect apples for juice processing.- Assist with the harvest of fruits and vegetables in the organic garden.- Perform painting and cleaning work to maintain the castle.- Engage in encounters with local children and community members.- Participate in a variety of tasks suitable for all volunteers.



Accommodation and Food: – Simple group accommodation provided in a seminar house.- Meals are prepared by the group, focusing on vegetables and fruits with less meat.- Warm water is available from a solar collector.



Leisure Activities: – Bedheim castle is located in a picturesque area close to the Bavarian border.- Excursions to cultural and historical sites such as Weimar and the Buchenwald concentration camp are planned.- Discussions and lectures on German history, society, and culture will be held.
