About this camp: Help is needed to prepare space and facilities for the 18th Fokus Festival, an alternative 2-day festival on 15th and 16th August featuring various stages, workshops, and food. Volunteers will work in international teams to create furniture, decorations, and more, with opportunities to contribute unique ideas and participate in festival support roles.




Work: – Create fancy furniture for visitors- Design colorful decorations for stages and festival area- Engage in gardening activities- Lead personal projects and ideas- Support festival operations including bar shifts and backstage control



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay near the youth and cultural center- Sleeping arrangements include a big room with dividers, bathrooms, and a kitchen- Volunteers need to bring a sleeping bag and will prepare their own dinner, while breakfast and lunch are provided and vegan



Leisure Activities: – Guided tour through Goerlitz to learn about its history- Explore the current network of cultural and social initiatives in the city- Enjoy free time activities such as cycling tours, bonfire evenings, and parties
