About this camp: Help is needed to continue building up the farm, including the construction and renovation of a tiny house and other farm facilities. Participants will engage in market gardening activities such as harvesting, weeding, and planting while learning about permaculture, biodynamic principles, and old craft techniques using natural materials.
Work: – Assist in constructing and renovating a tiny house from natural materials- Participate in market gardening activities including harvesting and weeding- Learn gardening skills and environmental concepts- Care for chickens and sheep- Implement old craft techniques for building without modern technology
Accommodation and Food: – Predominantly vegetarian diet sourced from the farm- Cooking together in an outdoor kitchen with a clay oven for pizza- Communal living conditions with tents or construction trailers and basic sanitation facilities
Leisure Activities: – Explore the beautiful region between the Black Forest and the Vosges- Access a nearby quarry pond for relaxation after work- Visit the student city of Freiburg, located less than 10 minutes away by train
