About this camp: The workcamp in Mtzingen offers a vibrant mix of tasks for kids, youth, families, and senior citizens, focusing on maintaining and enhancing a large leisure area that serves the entire village. Volunteers will engage in various activities such as renewing play equipment, restoring sports facilities, and supporting community events, all under the supervision of local workers and volunteers.




Work: – Maintain and renew play equipment- Restore sports facilities, including beach volleyball and boccia courts- Create benches and picnic areas- Participate in landscape maintenance and public green space projects- Support holiday activities for children in Mtzingen on certain days



Accommodation and Food: – Stay in a municipal building that includes a small kitchen and living space- Volunteers are responsible for grocery shopping and cooking, with food budget managed collectively- Encourage sustainable eating habits to reduce carbon footprint



Leisure Activities: – Mtzingen is a growing municipality with a population of under 4,000- Offers essential amenities including supermarkets, pharmacies, schools, and a library- Nearby towns like Nagold and Herrenberg feature historic old towns worth visiting
