About this camp: Kulluoba Mound is a prehistoric settlement on the UNESCO World Heritage List where volunteers will assist the professional excavation team in unearthing history and maintaining the site. Due to hot summer weather, work occurs early in the morning and ends in the afternoon, with precautions in place such as sun-proof awnings.




Work: – Assist in excavating the Kulluoba Mound site.- Participate in environmental arrangement and cleaning of the site.- Engage in maintenance and basic repair work.- Help with landscaping tasks.- Work hours may vary based on the season.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay in lodging provided by the excavation directorate.- Accommodations include a toilet, bathroom, kitchen, and dining hall.- Meals are provided by the municipality, with opportunities for group meal preparation.



Leisure Activities: – Kulluoba Mound is located 30 km from Eskiehir, a modern student city.- Eskiehir is easily accessible via high-speed train from Ankara and Istanbul.- Volunteers will participate in cultural trips and group activities in Eskiehir.
