About this camp: Volunteers will assist a professional excavation team at Bein Castle, an early Ottoman Castle listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. They’ll be involved in excavation, environmental arrangement, maintenance, and landscaping, with work hours adjusted for the hot summer weather.




Work: – Assist the professional excavation team in unearthing historical artifacts.- Help with environmental arrangement and cleaning of the site.- Participate in maintenance and basic repair work.- Work hours may vary due to weather; generally from early morning until the afternoon.- No prior experience in archaeology is necessary to participate.



Accommodation and Food: – Stay in lodging provided by the excavation directorate with air conditioning.- Meals include breakfast and dinner at the lodge, with lunches prepared at the excavation site.- Shared meal preparation with the excavation team fosters camaraderie.



Leisure Activities: – Explore Mula City, rich in touristic, historical, and natural attractions.- Visit ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman heritage sites nearby.- Enjoy recreational activities at the beach, including sand and sun, along with educational workshops.
