About this camp: Bein Castle is an early Ottoman Castle on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Volunteers will assist the professional excavation team in unearthing history, as well as help with environmental arrangements, site cleaning, maintenance, and landscaping. Due to the hot summer weather, work starts early in the morning and ends in the afternoon, with precautions like sun-proof awnings in place.




Work: – Assist professional excavation team in unearthing history- Help with environmental arrangement and cleaning of the site- Participate in maintenance and basic repairing work- Engage in landscaping activities- Work hours may change, starting early and ending by mid-afternoon



Accommodation and Food: – Stay in lodging belonging to the excavation directorate- Rooms equipped with air conditioning, toilet, bathroom, kitchen, and dining hall- Breakfasts and dinners served at the lodge; lunches prepared with the excavation team



Leisure Activities: – Explore touristic, historical, and natural beauties in Mula City- Visit ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman heritage sites- Enjoy free time at the beach, and participate in educational workshops
