About this camp: This workcamp focuses on monitoring the health of children and the elderly, conducting community-based medical missions, and implementing health-related advocacy and capacity building programs. Participants will engage in socio-civic affairs with local government and assist in disaster risk reduction, all while living with a host family in the scenic rural environment of Tuburan, Cebu.




Work: – Monitor the health situation of children and the elderly.- Conduct regular community-based medical missions.- Implement health-related advocacy and capacity building programs.- Assist local government in socio-civic affairs.- Support disaster risk reduction and management activities.



Accommodation and Food: – Live with a host family, sharing a room with a family member or fellow volunteer.- Experience local life and culture firsthand.- Enjoy home-cooked meals typical of the region.



Leisure Activities: – Relax on unspoiled beaches along the western coast of Cebu.- Explore waterfalls, caves, and hiking trails in the mountainous landscapes.- Engage in cultural immersion and experience rural Cebu life.
