About this camp: At the Global Education Center (GEC), volunteers will engage in activities such as teaching English and other languages, organizing computer classes, leading arts and music sessions, and coordinating fundraising events. These experiences offer opportunities for skill development while contributing to the community’s growth.




Work: – Design and deliver English and potentially other language lessons tailored to students’ needs.- Lead creative arts and music lessons to encourage students’ talents.- Teach essential digital skills and manage the library to promote literacy and research.- Plan and execute fundraising initiatives to support the center’s programs.- Develop valuable skills while making a meaningful contribution to the community.



Accommodation and Food: – Stay at a simple yet comfortable volunteer house near the center, with essential amenities provided.- Meals are prepared by volunteers on a rotational basis, fostering collaboration and cultural immersion.- Dishes feature fresh, seasonal ingredients from local markets, showcasing authentic Khmer cuisine.



Leisure Activities: – Explore the iconic Angkor Wat and nearby temples during free time.- Cycle through scenic countryside or relax in Siem Reap’s vibrant café scene.- Attend traditional Apsara dance performances or participate in community activities like learning Khmer crafts.
