About this camp: Embark on a meaningful cultural journey and celebrate Cambodia’s most vibrant festival, Angkor Sangran, as an international volunteer. This exclusive program, a collaboration between Cambodian Youth Action (CYA), the Global Education Center (GEC), and the Cambodian National Youth Center (CNYC), offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Khmer traditions while contributing to community development and cross-cultural understanding.




Work: – Participate in the Angkor Sangran celebration by organizing traditional games and cultural performances.- Teach English and engage in cultural exchange with local students.- Empower local youth with basic digital skills and promote literacy in the community.- Assist with event preparations and foster cultural exchange.- Contribute to community development while celebrating Khmer New Year.



Accommodation and Food: – Stay at a comfortable volunteer house equipped with essential amenities.- Meals are prepared by volunteers, featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients from local markets.- The arrangement fosters teamwork, cultural immersion, and a sense of community.



Leisure Activities: – Explore iconic sites like Angkor Wat and nearby temples during free time.- Engage with local culture at bustling markets and cafes.- Participate in traditional Apsara dance performances and learn Khmer crafts.
