About this camp: Kundapur is a town located near the beach on the west coast of Karnataka, known for its rich biodiversity and strong local partnerships. The camp focuses on engaging volunteers in community service, cultural exchange, and educational activities to enhance their understanding of social and cultural aspects within the community.




Work: – Understand the social and cultural aspects of the community through direct interactions.- Participate in awareness programs on waste management via street plays and mural painting.- Engage in activities such as crop cultivation, composting, and medicinal plant nursery management.- Assist in the maintenance and management of an organic garden.- Contribute to non-formal education and renovation work at local schools.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation provided at FSL-India’s Centre for Experiential Living in shared rooms.- Meals include South Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.- Safe, filtered water is available for drinking.



Leisure Activities: – Visit local cultural sites and families to enhance inter-cultural learning.- Enjoy nature walks to learn about local plants and their medicinal values.- Participate in leisure activities such as boating on backwaters and visiting local temples.
