About this camp: The workcamp focuses on coordinating relief efforts in disaster-affected areas, assisting with development and construction programs, and organizing eco-friendly initiatives. It aims to promote friendship among Nepali youth while preserving and promoting Nepal’s cultural heritage through various events.
Work: – Coordinating relief efforts in disaster-affected areas.- Assisting in development and construction programs.- Organizing eco-friendly initiatives to mitigate the effects of natural disasters.- Promoting friendship and cooperation among Nepali youth.- Preserving and promoting Nepal’s cultural heritage through conservation efforts.
Accommodation and Food: – Simple accommodation with a local family.- Three traditional meals a day, primarily Dhal Bhat and Tarkari.- Cold water showers are available; volunteers should bring their own sleeping bag.
Leisure Activities: – Visit the temples in Panauti city, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.- Explore Bhaktapur and Dhulikhel during free days.- Take a two-day trekking trip to Namobuddha or Nagarkot.
